Best Western: The Worst!!

I am currently writing this post from Miami's Hampton Inn & Suites at ten o' clock at night. For those of you wondering why I'm writing about one hotel when Krista and I are staying at another, it is because Best Western refuses to let people under the age of twenty-one check into their hotel.

Both of us are aware that most hotels don't accept people under the age of twenty-one, but how is it that we Googled it and found that the age requirement is eighteen years old? They still would not allow us to check in knowing that we drove from four hours away and have no other options because their location didn't allow it.

We just wanted to go to bed, it was literally nine o' clock at night. The guy up front was no help at all with trying to find us a hotel that was accept us.

I travel for a living and never had a problem checking into a hotel by myself that my job already booked for me, so why is it an issue now? The lousy excuse we were given was that the hotel had a bar upstairs.

I'm sorry, but that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Bars always check IDs, so I'm not sure what made him think that the bar was a good reason to turn us away. Best Western will never receive any of my business in the future!
